FAQ Gondola
Answer: Pegboard is still the most commonlyused back panel, but we do offer a solid “martek” board in some sizes. We also supply slot wall as a backpanel.
Answer: We offer 3 different half-gondola lengths. When planning a gondola using 13” decks, please allow for a 30” half gondola, when planning a gondola using 16” decks, please allow for a 36” half gondola and when planning a gondola with 22” decks, please allow for a 48” half gondola. A gondola using 19” decks will either use the shorter 36” half gondola or use the larger 48”.
Answer: Yes, 16” + 16” =32”, but we need to allow for the center post and the base bracket trim. This makes the overall width approximately 36”. For space determination, you should allow 4” in depth to be added to the deck size. For example the overall depth on a wall unit using 19” decks will be approximately 23”.
Answer: A half gondola end display includes the base deck and can be free standing. The food line end display is attached to a full gondola and does not include a base deck.
Answer: Please add an additional 2” to any given length of gondola or wall application. For example a 24’ wall shelving unit will require an area 24’-2” long.
Answer: A wall unit is a one-sided shelving unit placed against the wall. This unit would include a panel face, such as pegboard, on one side only. A half gondola is also one-sided, but it includes two panel faces, front and back. A half gondola is used when the backside is going to be seen, such as against a window.
Answer: All continuous runs of gondola or wall units require 1 starter unit, which includes 2 posts, 2 sets of base brackets and all the finishing trim. The add-on unit consists of 1 post, 1 set of base brackets and no trim.

Answer: There are a few factors that influence the speed in which we can ship your order. Some of these include the time of year, the size of the order and whether or not your order includes any millwork items. However, a standard shelving order could ship within 3-5 working days and no longer than 7-10 working days. Product availability would be discussed with you prior to an order given.
Answer: Our inventory level varies depending upon the colour. Some colours, such as white, are more popular, thus we maintain a higher quantity level. We order to inventory and to levels based upon demand over the previous 12-month period. Our strength as a company depends upon our ability to ship quickly.
