Fred Meyer

Fred Meyer was experiencing ongoing theft of high-value electronics in their stores and needed a secure fixture solution that would integrate seamlessly with their existing gondola shelving system. The unit also had to be simple enough for in-store associates to install without requiring outside labour.

To solve this, our design team created a custom metal Security Cabinet, that attaches directly to their existing gondola shelving. The cabinet features polycarbonate shatterproof doors, which provide strong product protection while still allowing excellent visibility for customers. Each unit arrives pre-assembled for fast installation—store staff can secure it in place by adding a crossbar into the posts and tightening two nuts.

During the development phase, our team collaborated closely with Fred Meyer, beginning with concept drawings and moving through several prototype iterations. This ensured the final product met all security, usability, and merchandising requirements across their stores.
